Meet Janaye. I call her Janaye-naye. Janaye-naye is graduating from Lake City High School this year. Wahooooooooooooo!!! She has a heart for kids, (FABULOUS babysitter…….AMAZING with kiddos…..if your looking for a babysitter/nanny call me I might share, but ONLY if you bribe me with starbucks) she loves to play soccer, hang out with her family, take pictures, (AWESOME photographer btw), and laugh A LOT!!!! A few years ago, I was introduced to the colorful, sophisticated and a wee bit cheeky clothing line, Matilda Jane. It was love at first site!! The funky styles, the bright colors & textures are to die for…..her clothes are SERIOUSLY CUTE!! Anything from Matilda Jane’s collection is PERFECT for a portrait session. These one of a kind outfits are available only through trunk shows and/or through a virtual catalog show. A couple months ago we had a trunk show at our studio and the turnout was FABULOUS!! After many request, I am THRILLED that I will be hosting another show featuring the NEW Fall Collection! This time you can shop at the convenience of your own home online. Our Matilda Jane Virtual Catalog show will be NEXT Tuesday, August 31st – Wednesday, September 1st.

The Fall Collection ‘Field Trip’ is available to view on the website now and the 2nd Collection comes out on August 30th. Just one day before our show! I CAN’T wait to see the beautiful new pieces that will be added! New collections sell out fast so it is great that our show is on the day of the release. Meet Jessie. She attends Coeur d’ Alene High School. Some of her favorite things to do are play her guitar, long-board and run. She also loves photography and hopes to grow into the business one day. I think this family is soooooooo beautiful , wonderful and nothing short of AMAZING!! Ok, so i’m just a little prejudice. This sweet family is my bro’s family and I am SOOOOO in love with them!!! They live in the HOT HOT desert of Arizona. They were just here for a visit and I already miss them. It’s so hard being away from my family. It’s very weird to me that my little family is here and EVERYONE else is there. We visit once a year and they visit once a year. It’s just not enough!! We do talk daily and my brother reminds me almost always that **I** left them. ha! We did, and we absolutely LOVE it here. But it’s hard. Very hard. I love you guys!!

It’s hard to believe that these two will be starting kindergarten next week. Crazy how time flies!! Just 5 short years ago they were born. Sammy weighing only 3 lbs 14oz and Janet weighing only 4lbs 8oz. They were just little peanuts!! Look at them now……..

A couple weeks ago I was honored when I was asked to help out with a surprise for one of my very special friends, Katie. Kelli, Katie’s FABULOUS sister in-law organized a session for the cousins a few days before Katie and her family moved to California. Kelli thought it would be a beautiful time to capture the love and bond the cousins share. So that they would have memories to treasure. I decided to take a few video clips to mix in with the slideshow. I just love the way it shows how much they adore & love one another!

Thanks Kelli for trusting me to create these keepsakes for you!! I pray that “distance” will bring your family even closer then you are now. My brother lives in Arizona. It is so precious to watch the cousins naturally reunite and play together like they haven’t missed a beat! The starbucks and late night talks with my sister in-law rock! I even like that my bro STILL tortures me!!!(only because it’s just twice a year) ha! =) And the “remember when’s” are the best! The time we do get to spend together is just priceless.

This beautiful mommy is a FABULOUS photographer in our area. Check out her website. I am always amazed how much talent there is in the photography industry. I was so honored when she called and scheduled a session. I do have to admit I was a little nervous to photograph another photographer. But after a few short minutes the nervousness went away and we just played and had a great time!! Her kiddos were ABSOLUTELY precious and her hubby was wonderful! (he didn’t complain one time!) Sometimes daddy’s can be stinkers….but not this one!! =)

Meet Staci and her beautiful family!

I think one of the most beautiful blessings that God gives us in this life is our babies. The miracle of it all is just SO magical. This beautiful mommy is baking baby boy #3 in her ADORABLE belly bump. Oh BOY!!! I can just hear how LOUD her house will be in a few years!

Doesn’t she look AMAZING? I love her skin and beautiful eyes……..she is just gorgeous! Tammy was so easy to photograph, and I think she has the cutest little baby bump ever! Enjoy your pictures……………….
