    I have been a professional photographer in the Coeur d' Alene area for 8 years. My FAVORITE day of the year is family picture day. We do it faithfully once a year. Pictures are priceless, such a treasure. That is why I do what I do! I am so grateful to have the opportunity to celebrate life with so many people! It is truly the journey of photography that I love, whether it’s an expectant mother, a precious newborn, a beautiful child or a dynamic family. Seeing them through a lens in a innovative way.....and then capturing it....It’s captivating. I love it! xo, Amy

Mother’s Day Give-A-Way | coeur d’ alene, idaho photographer

It’s hard to believe i’ve been back from Africa a month already. Sorry for being so absent. I’ve been so sick. Very sick. Let me just tell you….Malaria is NOT fun. I love what my fellow friend (who is from Africa) said to me, “Amy, the good news is you are now ONE with Africa.” ha! I told him, “in that case it was worth it!” I am FINALLY feeling better!! Thank you Jesus! I had an incredible time. So many beautiful moments. I’ll be sharing pictures soon. My favorite memory is going into the villages and just loving on people. Nothing extravagant…..just loving on people in a tangible way, telling them they are beautiful and that Jesus loves them! Lot’s of high fives and hugs. I get “butterflies” just thinking about it. It’s truly amazing. During several home visits I was brought to tears. There are so many needs….like food, clean water, home repairs for their shelter. I can’t get it out of my mind. So, in honor of Mother’s Day, I decided to do a give-a-way to help raise funds for two of my “mom” friends in Africa. I am hoping to raise $900+ to help with several of those needs I saw.
